Our Founders

Gunjan Patel

With close to a decade of experience in the IT industry and armed with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Gunjan is a technology enthusiast committed to driving innovation. Beginning his career in a product-based company, he refined his skills and later assumed a pivotal role at TCS, excelling in Agile project methodology.

His vision revolves around creating a future where technology enhances familial bonds, simplifying lives with technology. Beyond work, he is a dedicated learner, always exploring emerging tech and advocating knowledge-sharing, making him a true leader in the field.

As a co-founder of Geeky Nerds, Gunjan's vision is to create a dynamic tech community where knowledge meets passion, fostering innovation and collaboration among tech enthusiasts. To him, the Geeky Nerds is the nexus where tech enthusiasts, from seasoned professionals to budding talents, converge to ignite the spark of innovation.

Our Founders

Jalay Simaria

With a passion for innovation, Jalay embarked on his tech journey during his under-graduate years, crafting an e-book reader by repurposing an Amazon Kindle. His career began in 2013 and he swiftly rose to handling client interactions and pioneered a custom Angular/React platform. In 2016, he joined an MNC where he kickstarted a JavaScript division and mentored fresh talent.

By 2018, he was representing his team onsite for an Apple Python project, cementing his reputation for quality solutions. His journey continued as he moved back to Ahmedabad in 2020, contributing as a front-end developer in a HIPAA-compliant telemedicine project.

In August 2022, he co-founded the Geeky Nerds, driven by a vision to build a world-class tech company in Gujarat that celebrates innovation and helps create a vibrant community of tech enthusiasts collaborating to push the boundaries of what's possible in the digital realm.
